Cottage Garden
Japanese fusion of planting with a meandering path to a carefully crafted focal point surrounded by black bamboo. We transformed a normal lawn into something special. Well stocked borders, naturalising over time; with varying levels of height and softened boundary lines. Hard and Soft contemporary landscaping design Solutions. Urban Utopia
Our clients wanted a living, breathing garden which was peaceful and tranquil. Plenty of plants but also minimal maintenance; set in a modern landscape of light coloured porcelain. The new build garden fence was also transformed. Our solution was inspired by Piet Oudolf with plants selected for year round structure and form, combining herbaceous perennials with ornamental grasses. Click the photo to see the transformation.
Contemporary Courtyard
From a cramped space of overgrown shrubs and dog-dug grass, our client wanted a child and dog friendly garden which was light and modern. On a budget, we made best use of the space with a luxury long pile artificial grass, Italian porcelain installation and narrow borders of herbs and edibles; with festoon lighting to light up the evenings. Sensory Garden
This large garden was overgrown with perennial weeds. The ground was a rubble pit of demolished cow shed. A complete dig out and rebuild; creating a nature-rich garden to engage the senses. A variety of textures for the feet… light manipulating tunnel… planting scheme of vibrant colours and edibles plus three types of lawn to lie on and smell… trampoline surrounded by bamboos blowing in the wind…. wheelchair accessible swing… and so much more. Serene Retreat
Over an extended period of time, we worked closely with our clients to bring a strong starting point of ideas to fruition. Combining natural stones of slate and limestone with Cambrian boulders and English oak… plus differentiated planting schemes for different conditions in the garden… these materials created a peaceful garden inspired by mountain and sea. Landscaped Deck… and more
The old timber deck in this garden was rotten and badly installed. With two new sets of steps, off-set angles and the profile of natural stone walling; we installed a new composite decking and opened up the garden with raised lawn and Indian Stone patio installation.
