Plants

High maintenance. Easy to get wrong. A waste of space? NO!!

Well… not when done right.

I take great inspiration from the likes of Piet Oudolf and Dan Pearson, as well as Hilary Thomas and Neill Ludmon. Experts in their field and just a few example sources of education and inspiration.

Plants are the life and soul of gardens. Evolving and changing with the seasons. Providing colour and texture…. form, structure and substance… to spaces which may otherwise be considered bland and boring.

But that does not have to mean high maintenance and scary. Anyone can have a living, breathing, beautiful garden.

If you get the soil conditions right and position carefully, then the scary stuff has been done for you.

Yes they might need some cutting back in the autumn, winter or spring… and perhaps some division from time to time… but is that not a small investment for what they could give back to your wellbeing and enjoyment of being outside? Often, sub-consciously. But the benefit is, scientifically, very much still there!

For some planting styles in small to medium size gardens, I am literally talking about a few HOURS PER YEAR!!

Still, our in house knowledge and close professional associations can take care of this for you…. is it no different to giving a patio a clean?

I encourage you. Bring your garden to life.
